Last Sunday four St. Edmund’s students took part in the British Schools National Floor & Vault finals, after qualifying in March.

It was a great experience for all gymnasts as they had the privilege of working with some of the very best gymnasts in the country, one who was a member of the GB squad.  All our representatives performed well and were a credit to themselves and the Academy.

Corrin deserves a particular mention as she scored her first 15.00 out of a possible 16.00 for vault and Josh performed an exceptional floor routine too.  These scores together, with excellent work from Brientony & Lysia,  placed our team in 6th overall.

Congratulations to all involved and many thanks to Mrs Swindells for all her coaching, time and effort too.
