As Harry goes into his 2nd year of Hogwarts more trouble is stirring, muggle-borns are being petrified by an unknown being, yet the teachers know what seems to be going on.
Harry finds a book which seems to belong to “Tom Marvolo Riddle” He decides to write in it (I’m not entirely sure why but sure, let’s go with it.) and he gets at reply.
Shockingly, he thinks its a good idea to keep talking to this strange being locked inside of a 50+ year old diary, who could be a killer, and he then gets pulled 50 years into the past to when the Chamber Of Secrets was first opened and killed a girl. This girl later became known as “Moaning Myrtle”, who was in the first movie and would later star in the next few movies, and almost cause the school to get closed down. That would petrify you.
The new Defence Of The Dark Arts teacher, Gilderoy Lockhart, claims to be able to find the Chamber Of Secrets, so the most logical thing to do is to make him go fight the hideous beast that lies beneath, but he thinks he should bring the “Famous Harry Potter”, not to mention, Lockhart being “an extremely strong wizard” and “can fight almost anything” is complete and utter baloney!
The film is a little different from the book, but which is best? That’s up to you to decide!
